The Leidos Corporation develops various computer programming applications to support the research activities at the Ames Research Center in Northern California. This position analyzes network characteristics, provides market research assistance, suggests removals, and modifications to network components. Designs and optimizes network topologies and site configurations. Plans installations, transitions, and cutovers of network components and capabilities. Ensures maintenance of systems. Coordinates requirements with users and suppliers. Provides support on all phases of analysis, design, testing, and implementation of networks and the telecommunications infrastructure to support EC/ECI functions.
Qualifications:
BS in Computer Science and 5 years related experience Previous experience on the NASA Supercomputing Support Services Contract at NASA's Ames Research Center. Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered career, or journey, level.
