Commercial Counsel
The candidate will review, draft and intellectual property agreements, advertising services agreements and sales contracts on a daily basis. Respond promptly to legal requests from Licensing, Business Development, Advertising Sales, Marketing and other clients, summarizing and communicating legal concepts that business people can use. Negotiate agreements that comply with company policies and risk tolerance. Advise business clients, as well as Finance and other company colleagues, on the legal issues and risks, approval processes, company policies and procedures. Support the continuous improvement of standard form agreements and legal processes. Should have J.D degree or equivalent practical experience. Must have 3 years of experience in business development, intellectual property matters and contract law. 5 years of relevant work experience is preferred. Should preferably have demonstrated experience advising clients in structuring complex commercial transactions. Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to manage several simultaneous projects under deadline pressure. English communication skills, both verbally and in writing are preferred.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
