Embody Statcomm's values, leading by example and holding the team accountable to our mission, vision, and values Recruit, hire, train and inspire sales team to achieve targets Assess current team processes and procedures, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement changes Be a positive change agent as we implement go-to-market strategies with new and existing team members Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasts, updated weekly Establish and grow productive and professional relationships with key decision makers and influencers Support the negotiation and closing of agreements in support of the sales team Collaborate with internal customers and cross functional departments to drive positive business outcomes Keep abreast of competitive activity and share knowledge with internal teams as appropriate Conduct constructive and timely annual performance reviews for direct reports Requirements:
5-7 years' experience in sales 2-3 years' experience in leading and motivating sales teams to maximum potential Fire and life safety industry experience is highly preferred Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred or equivalent experience Valid state issued driver's license with acceptable driving record Must be able to travel for up to 40% of the time; often overnight or multiple days The ideal candidate profile:
Must have strong aptitude for numbers and financial data Possess knowledge of market research, sales, and negotiating principles Possess excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships Able to drive sales process from start to finish Able to articulate the distinct aspects of services and products Ability to position products against competitors Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team-oriented environment Possess knowledge of how to develop client-focused, differentiated, and achievable solutions The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by incumbents assigned to this job.
