This position is ideal for an individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, where multi-tasking skills are key.
You will have a high degree of responsibility and independence.
This position will consist of front and back-office duties including:
Scheduling appointments Responding to patient calls Prior authorizations Data entry into Electronic Health Record (EPIC) Scanning and faxing Taking vital signs and height/weight measurements Preparing/cleaning treatment rooms for patient examinations & procedures Assisting MD with Biopsies Practicing sterile technique Requirements:

Qualifications:
Excellent customer service/interpersonal skills Medical terminology Excellent verbal and written communication skills Comfort with interacting with the elderly and disabled Comfort with bodily fluids Strong computer skills Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Electronic Health Records experience (EPIC) Strongly preferred
Qualifications:
Preferred 1
years' experience as a Medical Assistant in an outpatient medical clinic Bilingual - Spanish Required

years, including familiarity with insurance verification and prior authorizations
