Revenue Analyst at Elastic in Mountain View, CA
The Revenue Analyst supports the Revenue Team by preparing revenue analysis, account reconciliations and ad-hoc reports and performing other important activities within our order to cash process. The Revenue Analyst is an important contributor to our monthly revenue close process and also provides support to our external auditors during their quarterly reviews and year end audit. The successful candidate will be a hard working self-starter who is a flexible problem solver, thorough and focused on maintaining a positive attitude while delivering excellent quality. To succeed in this position, the Revenue Analyst will need to be both an individual contributor and a team player who will proactively identify areas of improvement to contribute to improving the overall process. What You Will Be Doing:
Be a key contributor to the month-end revenue close by validating accounting for revenue under ASC 606, reviewing revenue account reconciliations, conducting fluctuation analyses and reporting disclosures Support ad hoc projects, including systems implementation, and process improvements related to revenue processes Review customer contracts to ensure compliance with US GAAP and Elastic accounting policies Support our external auditors during their quarterly reviews and year end audit Collaborate with various teams across the Company to resolve issues What You Bring:

years of revenue operations and/or public accounting experience (experience with ASC 606 & IFRS 15 for term software license or SaaS a plus) 2
years of overall experience in accounting or finance Strong MS Excel skills and proficiency in other MS Office products Experience with NetSuite, Salesforce and/or RevPro is a plus Well developed communication skills, both verbal and written Attention to detail and a commitment to quality Creative and strong reconciliation skills Ability to work independently and prioritize work streams in a distributed (currently 100% remote), dynamic, fast-paced environment Confidence interacting with other teams and external auditors Additional Information - We Take Care of Our People As a distributed company, diversity drives our identity.
