Sr. Analyst, Enterprise Data at Elastic in Mountain View, CA
We are looking for a Sr. Analyst of Enterprise Data to join our growing team. The primary mission of the Enterprise Data team is to enable the availability and reliability of data across the enterprise to support Elastic's strategic objectives by driving how data is defined, consumed, delivered, and governed. What You Will be Doing Collect, analyze and understand business reporting and insights needs to identify technical data and analytics requirements. Understand and build end to end data flows and process maps. Support delivery and implementation of enterprise wide data and insights initiatives. Perform quantitative analysis and data mining to drive insight; present findings in a way to see beyond the numbers. Design, validate and deploy hierarchies and attribution to enrich data sets. Craft and develop reporting and visualization capabilities that drive business decision making. Monitor and maintain data quality, validation/audits, and governance for data domains. Develop the critical metrics to track and monitor the health/quality of information. What You Bring Along 3
years of relevant work experience (Business Analytics, Data Modeling/Analytics, Data Management, Program Management). Experience conducting large scale data analysis to support business decision making. Strong analytics and problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively. Experience working with enterprise wide data, structured and unstructured, joining large and complex data sets. Experience with the following tools:
SQL (writing and analyzing complex queries), Tableau/Power BI (defining data models and measures), Alteryx (willingness to learn is sufficient). Python knowledge a plus. Demonstrable ability to be agile, proactive and comfortable working in ambiguity and think creatively to come up with innovative solutions to complex problems. Bilingual having an understanding of both the functional (business) needs and the analytics/technology. Familiarity with data sourced from common ERP and CRM systems including:
Salesforce, Netsuite, etc. Machine Learning and Predictive Modeling experience is a plus. Self-motivated and pragmatic, with a get-it-done mentality.
