Summary:
We are looking for a Head of Marketing & Communications to lead product marketing, consumer marketing, performance marketing & data analytics, creative services, PR and operations for a team of 30
internally and externally. The ideal candidate is a natural leader who has deep knowledge of both growth and performance marketing best-in-class tactics and channels, has matured B2C marketing experience in the consumer services space, is highly familiar with digital marketing, and is well-versed in the verticals of media, gaming, loyalty, and fine art. This role will report directly to the SVP of Product & Marketing and collaborate closely with the product and cross-functional teams to help launch, sustain, and grow the current ecosystem of apps as well as new services in the future. The role demands an experienced leader who is skilled at developing and executing strategies that drive revenue and overall business impact, while also navigating a matrixed, global organization.Role and Responsibilities Key
Responsibilities:
Develop the strategy for Marketing & PR across all apps and services on Samsung Smart TVs and Galaxy smartphones. Oversee the execution of integrated marketing campaigns focused on driving awareness, acquisition, retention, and win-back across owned and cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope. Define and manage multi-million dollar annual budgets, as well as vendor contracts. Manage multiple direct reports across different functions in Marketing & PR. Manage external creative agencies for the creation and delivery of assets. Present structured proposals and decks to executive leadership globally. Use a data-driven approach and analytics for optimization to drive performance of all marketing campaigns. Submit regular reporting on monthly marketing performance and highlights. Direct all new branding initiatives in accordance with the Samsung brand guidelines Foster relationships with key partners Work closely with Product, Legal, Corporate Communications, Operations, Strategy, Data Analytics, and Finance. Skills and Qualifications
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or similar field. MBA preferred. 15
years working experience in consumer marketing, preferably mobile & TV app marketing. Ability to lead, manage, grow and structure a dynamic team of marketers. Deep knowledge of Android apps and OTT apps and how to optimize to drive performance across various campaign models and offers. Flexibility & ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment. Excellent oral and written communication skills:
a great presenter, an active listener with consultative capabilities, able to communicate across cultures. Experience working across a wide variety of marketing channels. Strong organizational skills with an ability to prioritize and manage workload.
Salary Range:
$250K -- $500K+
Minimum Qualification
Communications & PREstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
